I had a dream last night about the temple of silvanus and its elven head
priestess. When the Mist came, it changed the fabric of space and time and
she felt the connection with nature and Silvanus tearing away, and her
apart. The pain was great, both physical and mental, the Mist drove her mad,
but not before she put her remaining energies into changing the temple so
that most who visit it will find it just another glade in the forest, but
for elvenkind and halflings, it will be a refuge.

Sacred Grove - Hall
Build Guidelines
These should look pretty familiar to anyone that's built anything for Anchordeep before.
Use CEP 2.2B
Keep the areas to 16x16 or less. If you really need more space in an area and can't break it up into separate areas, please let me know so we can talk about it.
All doors and transitions need to have a [Origin]_to_[Destination] and the waypoint on the other end should be [Destination]_from_[Origin]
Try to give your areas a consistency in naming. That is if you're doing a bunch of areas in an Anchordeep Warehouse, use that at the beginning and append the more specific parts of the name to end. For example: Anchordeep Warehouse - Ground Floor. Please, no areas named Area001...
If you're comfortable doing simple scripted events go ahead, but make sure you let me know what you've done.
You can create custom monsters and encounters, but please let me place them, as well as the loot. Create them and save them as blueprints, and if you have any thoughts about where they should go let me know.
I'll make the final transitions into the world mod.
I'm really excited about the enthusiasm of the team we have coming together. If anyone has any questions or needs help with something please post it here. We can be a resource to each other through this.

So where's the mod at right NOW?
Here's what I've gotten done so far.
I started with the old Anchordeep mod and stripped out ALL the areas except one for testing. Then I added CEP2.2b and made the hak and scripts compatible with nwn 1.69.
Now I'm in the process of adding the areas I want to keep back into the mod. Right now I've got the mod with the old City of Anchordeep and all the associated areas around that. This is what I'm going to use to get the new death system and whatever other systems I want to add.
After I get those working I'll add in the rest of the areas from the old mod I wish to keep. With any luck I'll be at this point by this weekend.
Then I'll start plugging in the new areas, NPC's and other new content (that's where you guys come in)
My goal is to have this puppy ready to go online by Feb '09 *fingers crossed*

So this is how it begins....
with ooh's and ahhh's... then there's running... and screaming....
Hoping this will help us, the builders of the new Anchordeep keep ourselves informed, entertained, inspired, and pretty much on the same page with what we're each doing.
I'm working on something of an architecture of what the new mod should look like. As soon as I get that ready I'll distribute it. Some of you have already seen it.... or at least know it.
